Last year’s meeting resulted in a 10-point victory for the Orchard County, who then lost out to Derry on penalties in the decider.

Kieran McGeeney’s side had 11 points to spare over Fermanagh in the quarter-final and they are strong favourites to return to the Ulster final at Down’s expense.

The Mournemen know they need to reach the final to avoid the Tailteann Cup, but Conor Laverty’s side were far from impressive as they scored a four-point win over Antrim earlier this month.
