ST HELENS PLAYER RATINGS AS JACK WELSBY IMPRESSES IN DISAPPOINTING OUTING

Jack Welsby - 7: Arguably his most influential first half of the season. Two elusive runs in the same set brought him a deserved try and he continued to try to impress himself on the game in the second half.

Tee Ritson - 6: Created pressure on his opposite number in a solid defensive effort in the first half. Beaten to a high ball in the second for Litten's try but solid throughout.

Konrad Hurrell - 6: Bustled his way forward as usual and was rewarded with a try double.

Mark Percival - 6: Strong early defensive effort, but may be disappointed with being out of position for one long range Robins effort. Quieter in the second half like many of his teammates.

Waqa Blake - 6: Looks to be growing into the game and showed great footwork for his try.

Jonny Lomax - 6: Lovely cut out ball for Blake's try but, like Lewis Dodd, was targeted by the Robins big men in defence.

Lewis Dodd - 5: A mixed bag as he started brightly with a lovely ball to Welsby but looked indecisive at times with last tackle kicks, especially along the floor, not causing any problems.

Sione Mata'utia - 7: Big minutes at prop and second row as Saints attempted to punch holes in the Robins defence.

Moses Mbye - 6: spritely at dummy half, scheming and looking to create. Looked like he relished the opportunity to start.

Matty Lees - 7: Good first stint from the tough running prop and returned with renewed vigour.

Matt Whitley - 5: Left the field after around 20 minutes with a shoulder injury.

Joe Batchelor - 5: Busy enough but made a massive error giving away a set restart on the last, which in turn led to a KR try.

Morgan Knowles - 6: All action start from the loose forward, including being sin binned after 15. Came back into the action at prop forward.

Daryl Clark - 5: Quieter game from the hooker when introduced didn't influence the game as much as against Huddersfield last week.

James Bell - 5: Not at his usual energetic best including a poor last tackle option when Saints were in good position.

Curtis Sironen - 5: Not introduced until the second half so didn't have chance to properly influence the game.

George Delaney - 5: Energetic enough stint from the youngster when brought on from the bench.
