Aston Villa have the opportunity to build a five-point gap inside the top four this weekend as Nottingham Forest face Unai Emery's side at Villa Park on Saturday.
As Villa beat Fulham 2-1 at Craven Cottage last time out, Champions League challengers Tottenham slipped up at home against Wolves and while Ange Postecoglou's side do not play this weekend due to Chelsea's involvement in the Carabao Cup, Villa have a greater incentive to claim back-to-back league victories.
Forest head to Villa Park looking to complete their first league double over Villa since 1984-85 following their 2-0 win at the City Ground in November. Villa have lost their last two games at Villa Park and haven't been beaten three times in a row in November 2020 under Dean Smith.
