ANGE POSTECOGLOU'S POWERFUL NORTH LONDON DERBY SPEECH AND THE TOTTENHAM CHANGES HE WILL MAKE

Sunday's North London Derby between Tottenham and Arsenal promises to be quite the occasion in N17 with plenty on the line at this stage of the campaign. For Spurs, Ange Postecoglou has his side in the Champions League mix with six fixtures remaining on the calendar.

Aston Villa currently have a six-point advantage over the Lilywhites but Spurs' two games in hand could potentially swing things in their favour. For Arsenal, the Premier League title is up for grabs as they go head-to-head with Man City for England's top prize.

It did previously appear to be a three-horse race for the title but Liverpool's 2-0 defeat against Everton in Wednesday's Merseyside derby has dealt the Reds a huge blow with fixtures quickly starting to run out. With football fans already treated to a rather impressive derby clash in midweek, they won't have to wait too much long for another to come around with Tottenham and Arsenal set to do battle.

Games between the two are usually very interesting affairs and the goals do tend to flow as both vie for the north London bragging rights. Back in September, the sides played out an entertaining 2-2 draw at the Emirates Stadium, with Son Heung-min's double seeing Tottenham earn a point following Cristian Romero's own goal and Bukayo Saka's strike.

Although Son's form may have dipped of late with very little falling his way in the West Ham, Nottingham Forest and Newcastle United fixtures, the Spurs skipper could fare better this weekend due to Mikel Arteta's brand of football. Postecoglou may have a decision to make regarding Son's exact position in his starting XI if Richarlison is fit enough to start after missing out recently through injury.

As well as a decision over his attack, the Australian must also decide on Destiny Udogie's replacement at left-back and his midfield combination. Two weeks on the training ground ahead of the North London Derby could play into Tottenham players' hands as they bid to right the wrongs of their 4-0 loss at Newcastle United.

Postecoglou's pre-match speech could also have quite the impact on his players as many of his squad have already spoken this season about his powerful words before they set foot on the pitch. On the latest episode of Gold & Guest Talk Tottenham, Spurs reporters Alasdair Gold and Rob Guest discuss Sunday's North London Derby and the opportunity for Postecoglou to deliver a rousing speech.

As well as all a preview of the London derby clash, the duo also discuss Tottenham's pre-season tour of Japan and what next season's Nike away kit could look like.
